There’s just nothing quite like walking quietly down a trail through the woods or sitting still on a downed tree, listening to the sounds of the critters in the brush and the wind blowing through the treetops. The anticipation of the opportunity to take a shot at wild game, the thought of the delicious dinner that will be shared with family after a successful hunt. It’s what I look forward to all year long.
I live in a great place for hunting, with several hundred acres of public hunting grounds in the region. I also own a 26 acre tract of wild land that I call Wildwood Glen. Here I will post about my hunting experiences, mostly from the past few years.
